As we age or stress out (hi, modern life), we start chest-breathing — quick, shallow, survival-mode breaths. This pushes us into constant fight-or-flight and messes with our ability to think, feel, or function clearly.
Breathwork activates the vagus nerve — your body’s magic switch for rest, digest, and inner calm. It drops you out of overthinking and into feeling. It reboots your nervous system from “panic” to “peace.”

Sound healing is the therapeutic use of sound frequencies to bring the body, mind, and spirit into harmony. Because the human body is made up of nearly 70% water, sound travels efficiently through our system — affecting us at a deep cellular level.
By working with specific tones, vibrations, and frequencies, sound healing can help shift stagnant energy, support emotional release, and down-regulate the nervous system. This process has been shown to stimulate melatonin production, reduce cortisol levels, and promote a state of deep rest and restoration.
Whether experienced through crystal bowls, the human voice, or other resonant instruments, sound becomes a powerful tool for returning to balance and wholeness.

Ali utilises a variety of instruments, including crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, Native American drone flute, Medicine Drum, guitar and her own vocals to create a meditative soundscape.

Sound healing can be a nourishing and supportive practice during pregnancy, as gentle frequencies may help soothe the nervous system, reduce stress, and create a calming atmosphere for both mother and baby.
However, it’s important to know that sound healing can also activate emotional release and energetic detoxification — which, while beneficial in many situations, might feel overwhelming or intense during pregnancy. Because of this, sessions should be approached with care and always tailored to the individual's needs and sensitivity.
Certain instruments, such as large gongs, low-frequency drumming, or intense vibrational tools placed directly on the body, may be too activating during pregnancy and are generally best avoided. Softer instruments like crystal singing bowls, chimes, gentle voice, or monochords are usually more suitable.
As always, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before participating, and informing your sound healing facilitator so the session can be adapted to support your safety and comfort.

She weaves together a blend of ancient and modern modalities, from traditional Himalayan breathwork and Pranayama to more trauma-informed practices like Holotropic, Rebirthing, and Shamanic breathwork.
In 1:1 sessions, Ali intuitively tunes into the energy and needs of the client, crafting a breath journey that is deeply personal and uniquely supportive of where they are in their healing process.

While breathwork is a powerful and transformative practice, it’s not one-size-fits-all, and some techniques may not be appropriate for certain individuals.
Anyone who is pregnant, has a heart condition, experiences seizures, has high blood pressure, glaucoma, or a history of severe mental health challenges (such as psychosis or schizophrenia) should exercise caution and consult a qualified healthcare provider before participating.
Importantly, any breathwork involving rapid, intense, or prolonged breathing — such as Holotropic, Rebirthing, or Shamanic styles — is generally not recommended during pregnancy or for those with cardiovascular or neurological conditions. These styles can activate the sympathetic nervous system, increase heart rate and blood pressure, and may lead to lightheadedness, dizziness, or emotional overwhelm.
However, gentle and slow breath practices, such as traditional Pranayama, coherent breathing, and grounding breathwork techniques, can often be safely adapted with proper guidance and can offer incredible support for emotional regulation and nervous system balance.
